About JAMA

JAMA's Mission Statement

 

JAMA was created with a forward approach and strong goals in mind. We are here to serve the marching band, color guard, and winter guard communities. We will focus our attentions to the Mid Continent Color Guard and Heartland Color Guard Association.

Our intentions are to also create a stronger presence of our abilities in the marching band arena. For the first time, last year we introduce standardized criteria to our marching band contest clients.

We are pioneers. We will continue to fight for uniformed criteria and judging systems. We will battle ignorance amongst the judging community. We will improve daily not only the education of students and instructors but also of our own judges. We will form alliances with other circuits to expose our membership to other regions. Not for our advancement, rather to expand our abilities and service area.

We will place above everything else the students we serve and the customers who arrange our "meetings" with them.
